A surgeon submitted a lawsuit in 2017 against the clinic he worked at immediately after developing thyroid cancer. The lawsuit states that at the least 7 people who worked at that same clinic were being diagnosed with cancer, and two even died. This was as a result of inappropriate radiation defense
